1. when i applied i believe i have to say i am married, since we have not got legal divorce agreement, what i have now is only our marriage certification 2. i have to fill his name on my application form as my husband and i believe he has to fill my name in his application form too, so i guess the consult will have hardcopy or any record in their visa system. does h1b visa need to fill in wife's passport number? If so, it is bad for me to apply for mine now 3. i wanna say 'he is working in Canada now, donot have holidays', will this cause problem or not?

如果说是在加拿大这边工作，不想办签证，估计他上周拿到签证的记录在领馆有记录吧？？
如果说他拿到美国工作签证了，就怕领馆找我要他工作签证的复印件，可是他没有给我啊，怎么办呢？该怎么说才能够混过我这Ｂ１／Ｂ２签证呢？
原来以为自己只要有工作就很容易拿到签证了，谁知道还这么麻烦，帮我出出主意吧。　谢谢。

1. I am not sure how US consulate would know he is your husband, he filled in yours in his application?

2. if asked, you could say "we are seperated, no idea how he is doing", the officer may treat your case as a single person if you have evidence to prove it.

3. If you have to fill your husband's visa type in the application, better have strong evidence that you two are seperated, otherwise the officer wouldn't believe that you will stay in Canada, not try to move with your husband.

4. You may apply for H4 in worst scenario.

If you tell them you married, then tell all truth. you have to assume they know all about your husband's H1B. otherwise if they find out you lie, probably you won't get any visa before or even after you becoming a Canadian citizen.

I think there are good chances you can get B1/B2 if you can show a tie in Canada, i.e. permanent job, a residence for years etc.

You can also let them know you two are seperated soon, but the officer may or may not believe you.

You have another choice which is apply for H4, dependent of a H1B holder, then B1/B2 if divorced

mssg is right - just tell all the truth. however if they don't ask, no need to provide extra info. you are entitled to a h4 visa - so there is little reason they will refuse your b1/b2. -m2001(noname?); 2002-11-13 (#852914@0)

我倒不牵扯老公有工作签证的问题,所以我就说就我一个人想旅游去某些城市顺便看看朋友.老公圣诞或新年有自己的打算.移民官就没在这个问题上纠缠,他们主要是审我的经济状况.
